The Artist
About
Raphael
Raphael is a Canadian artist who works in pencil, ink, and digital — building portraits, hot rods, and weird vector line art one piece at a time.
His process usually starts in pencil, then gets inked, with copies made at each step. Recently he picked up a drawing tablet and is learning the digital side of things too.
The subjects range from detailed car illustrations with that classic 50s/60s rockabilly feel, to portraits that stare right through you, to abstract vector compositions that look simple until you really look.
Crafty Raphy is his home online — a place to browse, buy prints, and see what's coming next.

Artist Statement
I draw what I think is cool. Cars, faces, weird lines — if it looks good on paper, it ends up here. Every piece starts with pencil and ends up somewhere I didn't expect.
